About my art

In the beginning there was a natural order of creation and decay, in which all life mindlessly partook. Then the human race emerged and made materials that were no longer could be absorbed by nature. A growing amount of remains began to pile up and in thousands of years has become a reflection of our society. As a consequence our civilization withdrew itself from the natural process of creation and decay, of growing and dying. In the end living things were only allowed if under complete control of men. Vermin, bacteria, weeds and fungi were destroyed, trees and bushes were trimmed and livestock was domesticated. The human world has become a dead world in which the illusion of eternity is enshrined.

From the remains of this artificial world I make my own world: a self evident unlikely world shakely balanced by the grace of my hand.
